Joan Lyon is an artist who specializes in Mixed Media Monotype paintings. She has been expressing herself through her art for over 30 years. Her artwork is represented by Katharine Butler Gallery of Sarasota, FL. Joan's images are derived from experiences, imagination and dreams. Joan believes that the  rough imperfect and scarred surfaces of her Mixed - Media Monotype art metaphorically reveal the fragility of both the earth and all the life on it.
